Question 1

Do you pull permits for window and door replacement?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When your city or county requires a permit for window or door replacement, we handle the permit application and coordinate inspections. Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, and other coastal municipalities have specific code requirements for impact-rated products, and we make sure the paperwork is correct before installation begins.

Question 2

Will the price change once work starts?

Accepted Answer

No. The price on your written estimate is the price you pay, unless you ask us to add work that wasn't in the original scope. If we open a wall and find rotted framing or other damage, we'll show you what we found, give you a separate written price for the repair, and wait for your approval before touching it. Call (239) 323-5522 for a quote you can trust.

Question 3

How long does a typical window replacement job take?

Accepted Answer

Most single-window replacements take one to two hours per opening. A full-home window replacement typically takes one to three days depending on the number of windows, the type of unit, and the condition of the existing frames. We'll give you a timeline in writing before the job starts, and we'll be there when we say we will.

Question 4

What's the difference between impact-rated and standard windows?

Accepted Answer

Impact-rated windows have laminated glass and reinforced frames designed to withstand windborne debris during a storm. Standard windows don't carry that rating. Coastal homes from Fort Myers Beach to Sanibel and Punta Gorda often require impact-rated products by code, while inland homes in Lehigh Acres or North Fort Myers have more flexibility. We show both options side by side so you can decide based on code requirements, insurance savings, and your budget.

Question 5

Do you service the communities I actually live in?

Accepted Answer

We serve all of Lee County, most of Charlotte County, and parts of Collier County. That includes Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, North Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel, San Carlos Park, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, and Cypress Lake. If you're in a smaller town between those, call us at (239) 323-5522 and ask.
